- Southwater Event Group invests £80,000
- New drinking and dining experience in town-centre hotel
- Restaurant and fitness facilities
Following a major refit and an investment of over £80,000, the 90-room Ramada Telford, based in the town centre, has just launched its brand new bar area.
The new bar was officially opened by Ramada’s General Manager, Mel Stanton, at an event held for hotel guests and VIP invitees on 3rd August 2017. Following the investment the bar now has a new ceiling and lighting, contemporary furniture (including sofas and group seating), new dining tables, a large screen TV and a whole new bar, including front facing tills.
The work, which took around four weeks to complete also included knocking through a wall into the small lounge that was originally the other side of the bar, this has now created a much larger open space and more welcoming experience for guests visiting the town centre hotel.
“We continually strive to improve the quality of experience our guests get when they visit us at the Ramada Telford,” comments Ramada Telford General Manager, Mel Stanton. “The new bar is a really fantastic addition to the hotel and will mean that our guests can settle down to great food and drink in a relaxing, comfortable environment.”
Following the launch of the new bar, Southwater Event Group CEO, Tom Gray commented: “We regularly receive customer satisfaction scores of 9 out of 10 or higher for the Ramada Telford, and the new bar will help us to continue this brilliant record.
“I want to thank everyone who has helped make this project a reality, and I’m sure that many guests will benefit from this investment for years to come.”
